YOUTH WING



The Youth Welfare activities started with commemoration of the 117th Birthday of the Greatest National Leader Tr. K. Kamaraj on 12th July 2018 in our College premises. Students participated in the Quiz competition conducted by Officer’s Club, Pudukkottai in connection with the Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2018. The Youth SAC FEST 2018 - 2019 was started on 07.01.2019. The festival was conducted for 3 days. It was inaugurated by Mr. VaigaiPrabha.



On 12.01.2019, Students went on a rally to create Bogi awareness among the People. The SAC FEST ended with the valedictory function on 09.01.2019. Dr. SaraswathiRamanathan, Ret. Prof. of Tamil, Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women, Pallathur was the Chief Guest. She encouraged the Students by distributing prizes to the prize winners.

Monk Swamy Vivekananda’s Birthday celebration was conducted on 11.01.2018, many competitions were conducted for the Students as a commemoration of Swamy Vivekananda.

Students from Youth Welfare Department participated in the National Youth Day, conducted by SwamyVivekanandar Centre for Higher Research and Education, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on 12.10.2018 . On 12.01.2018, our Students went on a Rally to create Bogi awareness among the People.

Essay competition for Teachers and College Professors was conducted by Vivekananda Kendra at Kanyakumari in connection with SwamyVivekananda’s birthday celebrations.

Students participated in various competition in the National conference on Swami Vivekanandar Youth Icon (SVYI - 2016) conducted by SwamyVivekanandar Centre for Higher Research and Education, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on 12th January 2016.

Students participated in a one day National Conference on SwamyVivekanandar, “A Youth Icon(SVYI-2016)” conducted by SwamyVivekanandar Centre for Higher Research and Education, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on 22nd October 2016. Students participated in “SAVAL 2016” a District Level Competition conducted by JCI Organisation, Karaikudi on 23rd October 2016.

The Youth SAC FEST - 2017 started on 5th January. It was inaugurated by Mrs. Ashalenin (BHMS). Many off stage programmes were conducted. Every year number of participants are being increased and many students inhabited their writing habit and communication skills. They proved their talent in essay writing, oratorical competition, Bouquet making, Doll making, Glass Painting, Poster Painting, Tableau, Pot Painting and Cooking. Music competitions were conducted.

The Inaugural function of Youth Welfare Department was conducted on 05.01.2017. Dr.A.T.Asha Lenin, B.H.M.S., Karaikudi was the chief guest. In her address, she motivated the students to develop confidence, courage and communication skills.

Mrs. V.Jesintha, Member of positive net work explained how she boldly faced her life full of sorrows and advised the challenges of life. She cleared all the doubts of the students.

Students participated in “Karmela 2016” was conducted by Rotary Club of Karaikudi.

Great Monk Swami Vivekananda’s Birthday was celebrated on 12.01.2016. SAC-FEST -2016 was started on 28.01.2016. The festival was celebrated for 3 days. It was inaugurated by Mrs.M.JothiSundaresan, B.Sc., M.A., M.Ed. B.T Assistant, Talk-shows Mentor, Muthathal Middle School, Devakottai. Debater students participated in more than 30 competitions.

SAC-FEST ended with valedictory function on 30.01.2016 Dr.V.Niruba, Dentist., Singer and Dancer of Kottaiyur was the Chief Guest. She addressed the students and distributed prizes for the winners in the valedictory function. Students participated in the Quiz competition conducted by Officer’s Club, Pudukkottai in connection with the Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2016. The Department of Youth Welfare conducted the great wandering Monk SwamyVivekananada’s Birthday on 12.01.2015. On 13.01.2015 our students went on a Rally to create Bogi awareness among the People. The SAC Fest 2014 - 2015 started on 29.01.2015. The festival was conducted for 3 days. It was inaugurated by Miss. B. Malleswari, HOD of English, Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women, Pallathur.

The SAC Fest ended with the valedictory function on 31.01.2015. Dr. S. Buvaneswari, Principal, Ramasamy Tamil College was the Chief Guest. She delivered the special address and distributed the prizes to the winners

Students participated in the State level fest for undergraduates ANCHOR-2K15 organised by Alagappa Institute of Management, Karaikudi on 13th February 2015.

The youth Welfare activities started with the commemoration of the 111th birth day the greatest National Leader Tr. K.Kamaraj on 19th July 2013 in the College premises. Students participated in the Karmela-2013 organised by Rotary Club, Karaikudi on 31.08.2013 and 02.09.2013 and won prizes in dance competition.

Students of II B.Sc., Mathematics and I B.in., participated in the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) at St.Xavier’s Polytechnic College, Ramnagar, Devakottaifrom 27.09.2013 to 29.09.2013. The inaugural function of youth welfare was conducted on 07.10.2013. Dr. N. Chenthilnayaki, M.Sc.,M.Ed.,Ph.D., Vice Principal, Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women, Pallathur was the chief guest of the function. She stressed that the interpersonal skills plays an important role in the overall development of the career.

On 4th January 2014, KoviloorSanadanaDarma World University conducted various competitions. Many Students participated in all competitions and one of our student won the II prize in elocution competition. The youth SAC FEST- 2013-14 started on 08.01.2014. The Festival was

The Inaugural function of Youth Welfare Department was conducted on 07.09.2012. Mrs. Malathi, Beautician, Lion’s Club President, Karaikudi was the Chief Guest.

The SAC Fest started on 09.01.2013. The festival was celebrated for 3 days. It was inaugurated by KappiyaKavingarKaviK.Meenavan, Karaikudi. On 12.01.2013, the Students went on a Rally to create Bogi awareness among the People.

In the last 3 days we have conducted all the on stage and off stage programmes on the last day of the festival on 11.01.2013. Prof. Subramanian, APSA College, Thiruppathur delivered the valedictory address. He motivated the students and distributed the prizes.

16 students from Youth Welfare Department were participated in the state level competition ‘YUVASHETRA 2K13’ conducted by Alagappa Institute of Management , Karaikudi on 22.02.2013 and won many prizes.

15 Students from Youth Welfare Department attended a 4 days personality development camp conducted by Vivekanantha Kendra at Kanyakumari from 20.02.2013 to 24.02.2013.

6 Students from Youth Welfare Department were participated and won many prizes in the intercollegiate competition conducted by Alagappa University, Karaikudi on 01.03.2013.
