HRD Cell





The HRD Cell of our college, conducted an Innovative Programme on 04.03.2019 at 10.30 a.m. in our college premises. Our Principal, Dr. S. Ramuthai Madam presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Co-ordinator, HRD Cell welcomed the gathering the introduced the Resource personality to the audience. Prof. P. Manikandan M.E., HRD Trainer, Director, Grow Yourself Organization, Madurai, gave speech on the topics ‘ how to become an entrepreneur’, ‘how to prepare the competitive examination’, ‘how to use the technology wisely’ and how to think differently. He gave an interactive session with students . All III year students participated in the Programme. The feedback from the students was highly satisfactory. The HRD Cell Member Mrs. R.S. Santhi, proposed a vote of thanks. The Innovative Programme came to a happy ending after the National Anthem.





Under the auspices of the HRD Cell of our college, the Innovative and Training Programme was conducted on 24.08.2017 at 10.30 a.m. in our college premises. Our Principal, Dr. S. Ramuthai Madam presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Co-ordinator, HRD Cell welcomed the gathering the introduced the Resource personality to the audience. Mr. M . Balachandar , Entrepreneurship Skill trainer, Madurai, gave speech on the topic “Employee Empowerment”. He gave training to improve the Empowerment skills . Our College Entrepreneur Development Cell Co-ordinator , Mrs. L.N.Usha madam also participated in the programme. All the III year students participated the Programme keenly. The feedback from the students was highly satisfactory. The

Under the guideliness of the HRD Cell of our college, motivational programme was conducted on 05.10.2016 at 10.30 a.m. in our college premises. Our Principal, Dr. S. Ramuthai Madam presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Co-ordinator, HRD Cell welcomed the gathering the introduced the Resource personality to the audience. A One-Day Motivational Programme was conducted by Dr. S. Chellappa, gave speech on the topic “Global Mindset and Leadership”. He gave many useful tips to develop leadership qualities. Dr. Chellappa inspired the students through power point presentation with interesting manner. He conducted a interactive session with students in the last 20 minutes. All III year students of all major participated in the Programme and benefitted. Our HRD Cell member Dr. R. Thangam, proposed a vote of thanks. The Programme came to an end with grand success after the National Anthem.



To create awareness about the traditional food habit, and to sow the historical sense among the students, Our Human Resource Development Cell in co-ordination with Junior vikatan on the title of “ Tamil Manney Vanakkam” an awareness programme was conducted on 08.01.2016. The Chief Guest of our function was Dr.K.Sivaraman, Doctor, Nutrition and Dialectics, and Mr. S. Venkatesan, Literarian and Writer. Our Principal, Dr. S. Ramuthai Madam presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Co-ordinator of HRD Cell welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource personalities to the audience. Firstly Dr. K.Sivaraman gave many useful tips about our food habit, how to make the food healthy and how the foreign multi-national companies aimed at our country as their marketing place. He asked the students to avoid bottled beverages. Then Mr. S. Venkatesan made the next session very useful with entertainment, he correlated his messages with the historical events. Our Third year and Second year students from all departments participated , enjoyed and utilised properly for the right cause.

Under the auspices of the HRD Cell of our College organized a programme on 22.01.2015. Dr. S. Thiagarajan, H.O.D. of Economics, Sourashtra College, Madurai, inaugurated the activities of the HRD Cell. On the same day the Chief Guest Dr. S. Thiagarajan conducted a One-Day Workshop for students on the topic “Performance Management for Effective Entrepreneurship” between 10.30 am. and 1.00 pm. He gave many useful tips as how to develop leadership qualities, to set goal, talked about courage, self-confidence and time management through powerpoint presentation with interesting anecdotes. The Chief Guest Dr. S. Thiagarajan inspired the students with the most significant topics like ‘Personal Development’, ‘improving Self-Awareness’, ‘Developing Talents’, ‘Health’ etc. He gave training on how to be different and how to act and think differently. He also conducted job-oriented Work-shop like ”Group- discussion” , Building the Resume, and on ‘Etiquete’. The impact on the students was more as they were able to visualize the workshop on a large screen.



On the same day in the afternoon session between 2 pm. to 5 pm. Dr. S. Thiagarajan conducted a work-shop for the staff on the topic ”Professional Ethics”. He said that the professionals or the practitioners are expected to practice, perform their duties, behave and act in an ethical manner. He talked on racious principles like 1. Beneficence 2. Autonomy 3. Justice 4. Fidelity 5. Veracity 6. Informed consent 7. Confidentiality 8. Privacy 9. Competence and 10. Decision-making. The main aim of conducting such work shop for students is to help the younger generations to become the worthy citizens of tomorrow.



On 12.01.15, the birthday of Swami Vivekanandha was celebrated as ‘ National Youth Day’ jointly organized by HRD Cell, Youth Welfare Wing, N.S.S. and Youth Red Cross. The Chief Guest of the function was Prof. Dr. Pandi . On the same day a rally was conducted on ‘Bogi awareness’ stressing the importance of keeping the surroundings clean. A One-Day Training Programme on “Assertiveness and Transactional Analysis” was organized . The Resource personality Dr. M. Aysha Millath, Asst. Professor, Alagappa Institute of Management, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, gave speech on “Assertiveness and Transactional Analysis” through power point presentation in a meticulous way.



Our Resource person, conducted interactive session in an interesting manner. The HRD Member Mrs. Ananthavalli proposed the vote of thanks. The main object of conducting such training programme is to make the students of today to become the worthy Human Resource of tomorrow. The One-Day Training Programme came to an end after the National Anthem.

HRD Cell of our college, conducted one day Training programme on 06.02.2013 at 10.30 a.m. in our college premises. Our Principal, Dr. S. Ramuthai presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Member of HRD Cell welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource personality to the audience.

A One-Day Training Programme on “Life Skills Carnival” was organized . The training was offered to our students by the ‘Fynn Soft Learning Corporation’ which is an innovative digital educational company. The Resource personalities and Soft Skills Trainers Mr. Mario Jegan, M.S., M.B.A., (Bangalore) and Mr. Arun D’Souza, M.A., M.B.A.,(Bangalore) gave training on Teenage Treatment, Team work and Time Management, General Setting, Personality Development, Memory Techniques, Leadership Skills, Motivation clinic and finally on how to get high score in study techniques.

The Resource person, Mr. Mario Jegan conducted interactive sessions both in the forenoon- Technical session I and in the afternoon - Technical session II in an interesting manner. The feedback from the students was highly satisfactory. The HRD convener Mrs. M. Shantha proposed the vote of thanks. Ramuthai presided over the function and Dr. R.C. Sheila Royappa, Member of HRD Cell welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource personality to the audience. A One-Day Motivational programme on “Emotional Intelligence” was organized . The Resource personality Dr. Antony Samy, Visiting Professor of English, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, gave speech in the topic in an interesting manner to the students in the morning session and for the staffs in the after noon session.
